Lewis Capaldi, Elbow, Mahalia and Mark Ronson are among the 'album champions' announced for this year's National Album Day, October 12, 'celebrating the UK’s love for the album and the craft that goes into making this culturally significant body of work'.

This year's theme is 'Don't Skip', encouraging people to discover albums 'in full, as a complete body of work that tells a story', and Capaldi commented 'Absolutely buzzing to be part of National Album Day! Unreal to have finally released my debut album this year and find out that not everyone hates it!'.
